Academy of Management Studies (AMS), Dehradun is a premier centre of Management & Information Technology education .

AMS has been established by the famous Dayanand Shiksha Sansthan, UP, Kanpur in memory of Late Dr. Virendra Swarup former MLC and Chairman of the UP State Legislative Council. The Sansthan has a tradition of higher education and is managing 21 educational institutions which consists of Law College, Graduate and Post Graduate Colleges for Men and Women.

AMS was established in 1993 at the edge of Dehradun city which is reputed as the educational capital of India. There is no interference in educational institutions from undesirable elements which is the case in most other cities and towns of India.

AMS campus, on its own land, is located amidst lush green hills and rivers. In winter snow cap ridges of Mussoorie create magnificent backdrop.
